How to play Number Recall
Bring your attention to one round of Number Recall. Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Use the example below to understand a decision.
Try a deliberate move
After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Notice the feedback after each input.
Your goal
Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Start with a deliberate move.
Step by step
- Select Start again to begin.
- Memorise the displayed number without entering it yet.
- After it disappears, type the number into the answer field.
- Choose Check number; a correct answer opens the next round.
Controls
Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. Use the control method described here for this activity. Check any mode label before starting.
A useful example
If the number is 3072, enter all four digits in order. Entering 372 misses the zero. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Check the stated objective.
Watch out for this
This is a memory game, not a clinical assessment. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
